Inspired by Halo's marines and the power rangers.
No materials or textures are set up, but base mesh has been fully retopologised ready for further improvements.
Base mesh and armour components were sketched out in Zbrush4r6, then brought over to blender for refinement, retopology and rendering.
In total the base mesh took 3 days to sculpt from scratch and another full day doing the retopo.
Retopology was done meticulously to get the smoothest result with as few poly count as possible.
Contains 3 objects, one for the base body, one for the armour and one or the boots.
Total face count is 14660.
Total vert count is 17546.
The renders have 0 subdivision levels, it comes how it looks in the renders with smooth shading enabled.
Various techniques were used including edge split and creasing to create the smooth planes and sharp edges.
