how do you model high poly objects with lots of polygons when I try to create it mixed & mashed up as I want to improve my workflow but always bad luck.

@jp_singh First make a low poly model and then smooth it with Turbosmooth (3dsmax) tool or a corresponding tool in other program. It is all about perfecting your low poly model first. You'll get there ;) Just don't stop and keep doing it. One day you'll surprise even yourself with what you achieve :)
