This is one of our high poly models including a lot of geometry. The model is built near to scale within a few inches of actual general dimensions. The model has interior features as moderately detailed cockpit and cabin seating that can be viewed from the exterior through the windows. Model has two 6 cylinder engines. It includes animateable features such as ailerons flaps, rudder, elevators, landing gear retraction, landing gear doors, propellers and cockpit controls. Propellers are animated. The high end textures and materials are included in the Matex file. This model is available in several different formats. The model is built originally in Max 13 to be used in in-flight animations and video or simulation. It can also be used to populate an airport scene. The direct predecessor to the Baron was the model 95 Travel Air by Beechcraft in the 1950s. The Baron has been in production since 1961 and in 2008 it would cost $1,040,00.00 and they are at the top end of the price market for civilian aircraft of their type. Even with age the prices for these aircraft have stayed the same or appreciated over the years. They have been used by private pilots to fly family, executives to fly in and out of meetings, air taxi and flight training companies as well as military and some regional charter and airlines.
