This is the initial production variant with tip tanks. Cessna began production in 1968 and 516 were built. The second version was the 414A which had several improvements and no tip tanks, 554 built. The Cessna 414 is a 6-8 place twin-engine propeller driven aircraft used most often as an executive transport or family transport.
