Douglas DC-9-15 Nordwest 3D-Modell

This high poly model is build very near to scale and is within a couple of percent of the actual dimensions. It has a detailed exterior including radio antennas and pitot tubes. Landing gear have been finished with a moderate amount of detail too. The model is fully textured and comes with all materials and textures. In addition this model comes with animateable ailerons, flaps, elevators, rudder, landing gear, landing gear doors and turbines. The model is available in several different formats. We are providing the DC-9-15 model in a range of liveries. The McDonnell Douglas DC-9 is a twin-engine short-to-medium-range narrow body airliner. These aircraft were developed in the early 1960s to service smaller airports and short routes with seating of 60-70 passengers. They had a single aisle and were comfortable to fly in the earlier models. They were very popular with the airlines and passengers and over the years became a workhorse for the airline industry. Many variants were developed from the DC-9-10/15 including the -20, -30, -40, -50, -60 and the MD-80, -83, -85, -87, -88, -90 and the 717-200 which ended production after 2000. Final models of the MD-90 carried almost as many passengers as the DC-8 and were only a few feet short of the DC-8-63 length!
