Beschreibung
The TBD Devastator was the first all metal monoplane torpedo bomber of the US Navy. It served from 1938 to the first few years of the Pacific War in the Coral Sea Battle and the Midway Battle.
Included are three skins for an aircraft in 1938, one for an aircraft just before the war and one for the war as used in the battles of Midway and Coral Sea. All colors are for an aircraft of VT 1 stationed on USS Lexington.
The model is detailed and accurate. Because I make the models for outside renderings the cockpit is not very detailed. Landing gear is included in open and closed state. Same with outer wings, they are in folded and unfolded state included. Please delete or switch invisible the parts you don't need. Prop blur for flying condition is included. The alpha map is not exportet so please apply it yourself.
All parts are grouped and axis set for easy rotation of flaps and rudder if your rendering package supports proper axis import and groups.
Only Cinema4D model is propper textured. For other models please adjust the material settings. For FBX file the textures are not exportet but UV coordinates are still there, so please make the material with the maps included.
Please be aware, because Collada, 3ds and OBJ are exchange formats and not native formats, they need some adjustments. Please adjust or apply phong shading (especially in Blender!). Please adjust material properties like bump, specularity, transparency and so on. If there is an alpha map, this has to be included manually in the specific material.
