Originaler Eiffelturm 3D-Modell

This 3D model was built as an architectural exercise focusing on the Eiffel Tower structure. The model is accurate to the original 1887 design, reflecting the drawings of the engineers Maurice Koechlin and mile Nouguier published in "La Tour de 300 metres" by Bertrand Lemoine. Many structural and architectural changes have been made to the Eiffel Tower since its construction. This model likely represents what the Tower may have been like at the 1889 World's Fair. The 2D linework for the original elevation of the tower is included in the model. Dimensions are directly translated from the book and taken as true projection. All subsequent 3D geometry was informed by the elevation. Some key architectural details have not been included. Originally modeled in Rhinoceros 3D.
