HVAC KIT 1: BASIC AIR UNITS AND SQUARE DUCTWORK ********************************************************************************************* Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) are an essential part of any modern building - residential, commercial, or industrial. Use this kit and collection of elements and pre-made assemblies to add realism to structures. An excellent addition to warehouses, hangars, commercial complexes, military installations, airports, factories, homes, apartment complexes, city buildings. Intended as a starter for adding internal and external detail, this kit includes a mix of industrial blowers, air conditioning (AC) units, air ductwork and vents. Air ductwork is modular for rapid creation of elaborate air systems to span your structures. Pivots in native MAX file have been adjusted for quick alignment of parts in "snap-together" fashion, enabling rapid construction of large and complicated HVAC ductwork systems. Efficient modeling and rich photographic texture maps add detail without excessive polygons. Includes an organized, unassembled inventory of parts as well as a pre-assembled sample configuration. TEXTURES: Models are textured (unwrapped UVs). All texture and bump maps were generated from photographic images for realism. POLY COUNT: Polycount varies as these are kits that can be customized. As an average: - A single piece of ductwork tubing is 8 quad/poly - A single piece of ductwork tubing with flange is ~40 poly - Largest air conditioner / heat exchanger unit with vents & attachments is approximately 600 poly - Total polygons for this entire scene including all elements and pre-made assemblies: 11,442 EXPORTED FORMATS: Exported formats also have correct UVW mapping and textures. Formats include: - 3D Studio Max Version 8 (.max) file including all objects - 3DS (.3ds) versions of all objects - OBJ (.obj) versions of all objects - A collection of texture maps (color and bump maps) in .jpg format. All of these files have been loaded and tested in multiple 3D programs and viewers to ensure model integrity and proper loading of texture maps with correct UVW mapping.
