A strange old letter opener morphs into a real dagger. This model is based on celluloid letter openers given to physicians in the mid 20th century to promote an antibiotic. The real objects are now quite collectible. This letter opener has a secret, though: by changing one shape key slider it turns into a wicked dagger; the blade gets longer and sharper, the handle uncurls slightly, and the material of the blade changes to steel. Use it as a letter opener model, a dagger model, or animate it as a storytelling device. To morph the model just change the "dagger_morph_ shape key from 0 to 1 (see screenshot above). If you have drivers enabled the blade material will also change.
