Wood grain series - Involves imprinting individual
"Grains" no larger than fractions of a millimetre
into the 3d Model (subtraction) in a
Realistic/natural pattern that resembles natural
occurring wood grains.
More than 5,500 individual grains have been manually
designed, arranged and imprinted into this picture
frame model.
This saves render time in comparison to just using a
bitmap/bump or texture map to imitate "wood" in
addition, this just looks spectacular!
