The Velocity XL was designed as a composite homebuilt family transport aircraft, with swept wing and canards for better stability and flight control.
The Velocity had four seats including pilot co-pilot and 2 passengers. It was equipped with a 3 blade pusher propeller and a 6 cylinder opposed inline.
