DESCRIPTION:
Wild service tree (Sorbus torminalis) is native in most parts of Europe and Northwest Africa and Asia minor. It is a medium-sized deciduous tree growing to 15–25 m tall. Before the introduction of hops, the fruit were used to flavour beer. It is used often as ornamental tree.
