High detaled photorealistic model of Blood-red Ant (Formica sanguinea), FULLY RIGGED and UV mapped. WARNING: the hair system made by XGEN plug-in in Maya 2016. You need this plug-in to get hairs on the ant's body. ONLY hairs were made with help of XGEN. The spines on the legs, the long hairs on the head and claws are polygonal. The model has only quad polygons. The model is a single mesh (avoid to separate it because xgen hairs will dissaper). The model has two texture files (color map and normal map). Both of them are 8K High resolution. The material is Blinn. The rig of this model contains joints (simple IK kinematic) and NURBS controls.
