This is a model of a Caucasian Shashka Sword. The Shashka is a special kind of sabre which is single-edged, single-handed and a guardless sword. It originated among the mountain tribes of the Caucasus in the 12th century and was later used predominantly by Russian and Ukranian Cossacks. The model is in real-world scale. It was created in Autodesk 3ds Max 2012 and was rendered using mental ray renderer. There are 9 texture maps included (diffuse, specular, gloss, bump and normal maps), all in square 4096x4096 resolutions. All objects, texture maps and materials are properly named for easy use and are contained in a seperate layer. The model has clean topology made entirely out of quad polygons which can be subdivided for greater detail, and is centered to world (0,0,0). Centimeters were used as units. Lights, cameras and render setup are also included in this product.
