Colditz castle 3D. Colditz, Saxony, Germany. Original castle of s. XII reconstructed in the XVI, and with constructions added even s. XIX, mixing in them the styles Gothic, Renaissance, and up to neoclassicist. Used as administrative center; hospice at the beginning of the XIX; mental hospital until 1924 and prison in the WW. Prison Nazi from 1933, and of high safety from 1940 to 1945 (by what it was become famous in books, games, movies and TV). With the Soviets it was prison, elders' residence and hospital. From 1996 it is a tourist place and in 2005 it was begun to restore. Low poly, but very detailed replic in 1:1 scale of the Colditz castle (Germany). It´s geolocalized in Google Earth (April 2013). For educational use, architecture, renders, games or 3D prints (needs to be exported to other format), with a good relation quality - price. ARCHIVE FORMATS: The native format is Sketchup 6.4.1 The archive rar contains the model, textures and a txt with especifications about the model. MATERIALS/TEXTURES: The materials are 102 jpg adapted in the native model (sketchup) and exported with it.
