Descripción
This is a full tournament scale chess set that includes high poly chess pieces organized on a chess board as the main download, and in the supported item slot are the individual low poly versions of each piece.
*Uses*
This set as is can be applied to any render ready scene and the included low poly versions of each piece can be used in game engines and even lower quality renders to save on render times. Using the StereoLithography (.stl) file you can even 3D print each of these pieces.
*Included*
Included in this download is a scene with a set of tournament scale high poly black and white chess pieces placed atop a chess board. the UV layouts are included as well as the textures. I have also provided file conversions of the original blend file in the following file formats:
Blender 2.77 .blend
Collada .dae
3D Studio .3ds
Autodesk FBX .fbx
Object .obj
StereoLithography .stl
*Specs*
Each piece was modeled in Blender version 2.77a
The following are the poly counts of each piece.

*Dimensions*
This set was modeled to tournament standard scale which dimensions were found on ChessUSA and also an MIT article. These websites entails the general guideline for measurements of each piece and I used that as reference to maintain that each piece remain the proper dimensions.
Imperial scale was used in measurements:
King - 1.875in x 4.6875in
Queen - 1.875in x 4.6875in
Bishop - 1.875in x 3.75in
Knight - 1.875in x 4.6875in
Rook.- 1.875in x 4.21875in
Pawn.- 1.25in x 1.875in
*Textures*
The textures used in the rendered images are included as well as the unwrapped UVs, just in case my chosen textures aren't to your liking.
*Disclaimer*
The textures used for the pieces were the best royalty-free stock images I could find, and after doing renders with them, they appear to be a little noisy. But don't fret, if you have your own textures you would like to use, then just replace the existing texture with your new one and the model will look great. One last thing, the knight was a bit tricky and as such does not have a lower poly version not does its UV unwrap line up too well, but every other piece is unwrapped nicely and is non overlapping; If you are skilled in texturing, then you will not have much difficulty with the knight. Also The UV previews are what they were but for me to pack each model into this set their UV layouts are no longer in the represented positioning.
