Descripción
A galilean thermometer, ready to be put as ornament in some indoor environments.
Made in Blender 2.79 and Substance Painter.
The model is provided with the same light set used to generate the main thumbnail and it's ready to be rendered.
-> For Blender users: be sure to use a version of Blender that is equal or above 2.79, because the material includes the Principled Shader.
--- Geometry:
- The file contains one single object.
- The topology is consistently supported by loops and it's ready to be subdivided coherently. All the material is optimized for 2 subdivisions.
- Polycount: 5,848, all-quads.
- Dimensions: 18cm tall (7.08 in), 4x4cm (1.57) pedestal.
--- Materials and Textures:
- One material, one texture set, one UVmap (non-overlapping).
- Texture set in PNG, 2048x2048, PBR workflow: BaseColor, Metallic, Roughness, Normal Map (OpenGL and DirectX formats) and Opacity map.
- The effect of the shaded colors in the bulbs is not given by a volumetric or traslucent effect, but it's purely emulated with textures
----------------------------------------------
--- For Non-Blender users:
- The material is quite simple to reproduce in other software. Textures are connected to the pbr shader of Blender as they come out from the output of Substance Painter, with no further internal adjustments.
- The glass has an IOR of 1.3
- To define where the model shows glass or where it shows metal you've to use the provided Opacity map.
- The geometry of the colored liquids intersects the glass of the bulbs, internally. This is necessary in Blender. So take in account this information and adapt the geometry in relation to the features of the glass shaders of your engine, if it behaves differently.
