Ready for simulation, this preset was rolled out with 3Ds Max 2012 and FumeFX 3. Just sim the setup to get a quick result and use it for any fx related project. You can change the preset in any way you like, all parameters can be customized to your own liking. If you do not have enough RAM consider simulating at a lower spacing and then resim-ing using WT. Included are two versions of the project file, one with finalRender set as the default renderer. You can use cebas finalRender for realistic GI when rendering the explosion. Also included is a preset for Adobe After Effects CS6 for color correcting the render, to achieve a more realistic explosion.
