After crashing and damaging his mono racer Swordfish beyond repair, the famous bounty hunter Spike Spiegel wasn't about to give up his trade just yet. Through some shady channels, he got a hold of a prototype military scout craft. Originally designated "RX-23 Variable Geometry Recon Flyer", Spike wasted no time and immediately painted it pink, installed the mono racer controls and christened it "Swordfish II". While not happy about loosing the plasma stream turret on the original Swordfish, the Swordfish II nevertheless is much more heavily armed though. Beside the heavier armament, it also has 2 flight configurations (cruise configuration and dogfight configuration), much stronger sensors and due to the bigger cockpit, it can even carry 2 people.
