Designed built and added to production in 1993, this version of the 737 is in service with many airlines. It has the longest range of any 737 variant and carries 48-126 passengers depending on seating configuration. Boeing launched the 737-700ER (ER for extended range) on January 31, 2006. The 737-700ER is inspired by the Boeing Business Jet and is designed for long-range commercial applications.
