The model also includes a geometric basic models of the engine, engine mounts, exhaust and carburetor systems and a removable cowling. The model is built to be used in in-flight or airport ground animations and video or simulation. It can also be used to populate an airport scene. The Cessna 170A was a single engine light 4 place airplane built by Cessna Aircraft from 1948 through 1956. It would lead to the development of the Cessna 172. The Cessna 170 was powered with a Continental C-145-2. It was all metal and very popular with over 5174 built. More than 2000 are still flying almost 70 years later.
