La description
The Gibson ES-335 is the first semi-solid body electric guitar sold in the world.
The guitar is not solid or totally hollow, but it has a block of wood inside the soundboard, compartmentalizing it and moderating its vibration. On the sides of the box there are acoustic openings in the shape of an effe, inspired by the body of the violin and the cello.
