La description

"Wood Flies Good!" That's what we thought when we built the model of a home made hover bike with two impeller engines of two rotors each. The model is scaled for an average humanoid type model about 160-190 cm tall. The hoverbike comes with a fuel tank, 12V battery, all necessary cables and luggage boxes on each side, idle stop and engine start switches on the handlebar, head lights with bulbs, 3 cylinder engines and a short 530 frame animation. Just open the file and play it. Almost all textures are handmade. The model is good for presentations, games, cartoons, movies and as a prototype for a real hoverbike. The main purpose of this project was to make it convenient and interesting for all kind of animation including POV, for example the pilot can see all instrumentation, the handle bar and the turning front rotor. All objects in the scene are correctly linked and are linked to the main object - the hoverbike itself. Objects in the scene do not support additional subdivision (turbosmooth or meshsmooth). The model is logical from an engineering perspective with its own flight control system that is, to our knowledge, different from any existing flying vehicle. How to animate and what is in the demo animation: Ignition system (ignition key is a separate object) - animated. Left switch on the handlebar which starts the engines - animated. Throttle, twist of wrist - same as for a motorcycle, increases the rotation speed of both rotors for smooth take off - not animated in the demo. Hover controller - moves back and forth, makes front and back engines tilt and the hoverbike fly back and forth - animated. Left and right pedals control the yaw - turn hoverbike left and right - animated. The roll is controlled as on a motorcycle by pilot weight. The hoverbike is meant to be rocksolid stable when airborne, so no pitch. Gauges show RPM, speed, altitude, fuel and compass - partly animated. Rotors and engine pivots are animated. Fuel tank can be opened - not animated Luggage boxes can be opened - not animated In addition to that you can adjust : Handlebar angle and HandlebarSwitchBlock angle depending on the height of your pilot. Please put all files into the same folder. Depending on the application and the file format you may need to reassign textures used in materials. Thank you and enjoy! :)
