La description

This is a detailed model of R-40TD missile and with a texture map of 2048x2048 its looks as real as possible. R-40TD is a Soviet IR guided long range (at that time) air to air interceptor missile. This missile was specially developed to counter the threat of US bomber development of Valkyrie and reconnaissance aircrafts such as SR-71. The missile has a range of 30-80Km and can reach speeds upto Mach-4.5-5 and weighs as much as 461Kg which make it the worlds largest air-air missile to go into production.
