La description

This is a 3d Rubella Virus in HIGH DEFINITION! The virus is also shaded with procedural materials to allow infinite resolution no matter how close up you zoom into the model. The model was built using quads, with efficiency in mind during the modeling process. It is designed to have the maximum detail with the least amount of polys needed to keep that shape. This is especially important to keep in mind if your are adding this model to a large scene with lots of objects. Using this model over others may help maintain system performance. Using this model can help created realistic and high definition renderings to convey research or information to a 3rd party for informative or promotional means. Rubella, commonly known as German measles, is a disease caused by the rubella virus. The name "rubella" is derived from the Latin, meaning little red. Rubella is also known as German measles because the disease was first described by German physicians in the mid-eighteenth century. This disease is often mild and attacks often pass unnoticed. The disease can last one to three days. Children recover more quickly than adults. Infection of the mother by Rubella virus during pregnancy can be serious; if the mother is infected within the first 20 weeks of pregnancy, the child may be born with congenital rubella syndrome (CRS), which entails a range of serious incurable illnesses.
