Royalty-Free
Why is the website called Free3D if the models are not free of charge?
Free3D is a website for royalty-free models, which means that you do not need to pay royalties each time the model is used. Instead, you only pay a one-time fee for your model and can then use that model indefinitely within the limits of our Royalty Free License.

Are the models on Free3D real objects?
The products on our site are not physical objects that can be shipped to your address. The items sold on our site are 3D downloadable files used in game design, animations, or movies. We can understand why you would think our product may have been a physical product for some look realistic. Hence, we do not ship any products as they are not physical objects. The 3D models available on Free3D are used in diverse fields such as Animation and Film Production, Video Game Development, and Design and Visualization Projects. While the models are hyper-realistic, they are created solely as digital assets by talented artists and designers. To utilize these models effectively, users require 3D modeling software like 3ds Max, Blender, or Cinema 4D, which allow customization, integration, and rendering for various digital projects.
Do you offer printing services?
A model must have been made in a manner optimized for 3D Printers in order to be 3D printable. While many of the models on our site may include a format that your program/printer supports, not all assets may have been created with printing in mind.
Since we do not have access to appropriate platforms, such as a 3D printer, we cannot check a model's printing capability or attempt to convert it to a printable format.
Can your artists make custom models?
Unfortunately, we do not create custom 3D models or animations, nor can we ask an artist to create custom content. For custom 3D requests, we work with CGHero.com.
