CREATE A NORMAL MAPPED GAME-READY AKS 74U
Want to create your own normal mapped low poly Aks 74u for use in a game or mod? . Once you have your high poly model and low poly model placed over one another use the projection modifier and render to texture to bake the details from the high poly onto this low poly model.
The meshes included are exactly the same as the ones I used to make my Game Ready Aks 74u.
USE FOR PRACTICE
These models are extremely useful for practicing your normal mapping skills, how to use the projection modifier, set up a cage and use render to texture. If used correctly the end product will be an industry standard FPS weapon normal map. Mastering normal mapping is a must for anybody hoping to become a 3D artist in the videogame industry.
