BAe Jetstream 3200 Modello 3D

The Jetstream was to be the saviour of the proudly independent Handley Page aircraft company, but development costs and delays led to the companies bankruptcy in 1967. Production of the Jetstream was continued however by Scottish Aviation which in turn was to become bankrupt and incorporated into British Aerospace in 1978. BAe decided that the design was worthy of further development and created the Mark 3 version of the Jetstream with newer and more powerful Garret turboprops. The Jetstream 31 first flew in 1980 and proved to commercially successful with several hundred being built
