The Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV) or lunar rover was a battery-powered four-wheeled rover used on the Moon in the last three missions of the American Apollo program (15, 16, and 17) during 1971 and 1972. It was popularly known as the moon buggy, a play on the phrase "dune buggy". Originally created in 3ds Max. This model is suitable for use in broadcast, high-res film close-ups, advertising, design visualization, etc. Modeled for subdivision - only quads and tris polygons. This model contains 99283 polygons with TurboSmooth OFF This model contains 3154552 polygons with TurboSmooth ON (set to 2 iterations.) This product includes 3ds Max versions with and without V-Ray (separate downloads). No third-party renderer (for Vray scene you will need V-Ray 1.5 or higher) or plug-ins needed.
