A low-polygon model of a modern unmanned aerial vehicle - UAV drone aircraft as used by the United States Air Force (USAF) and Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Initially conceived in the early 1990s for reconnaissance and forward observation roles, this type of aircraft carries cameras and other sensors and is controlled remotely from a portable command station. This set includes a UAV in two versions (in-flight and with landing gear) as well as a typical modern military vehicle and an accurate model of a portable field control station which would accommodate the pilot and remote controls for the aircraft.
