Descrizione
The GAZ M21 Volga is an automobile which was produced in the Soviet Union by GAZ ("Gorki Automobiljni Zavod", in English : "Gorky automobile factory") from 1956 to 1970. The first car to carry the Volga name, it was developed in the early 1950s. Volgas were built with high ground clearance (which gives it a specific "high" look, contrary to "low-long-sleek" look of Western cars of similar design), rugged suspension, strong and forgiving engine, and rustproofing on a scale unheard of in the 1950s.
La GAZ M21 Volga è un'automobile prodotta in Unione Sovietica da GAZ ("Gorki Automobiljni Zavod", in inglese: "fabbrica di automobili Gorky") dal 1956 al 1970. La prima auto a portare il nome Volga , è stata sviluppata in i primi anni '50. Le Volgas sono state costruite con un'elevata luce libera dal suolo (che conferisce un aspetto "alto" specifico, contrariamente a quello "low-long-sleek" di auto occidentali di design simile), sospensioni robuste, motore robusto e tollerante e antiruggine su una scala inaudita degli anni '50.
