PRODUCT DESCRIPTION This is a High Definition model of Swing Arm number 9 (Command Module) used to access the Environmental Chamber (White Room) prior to astronauts entering the Command Module on Saturn Apollo/Skylab launches between 1967 and 1975. This swing arm has been built to accurately align with both my Saturn Apollo and Saturn Apollo Lite models allowing close up rendering of the Arm, White Room exterior and interior and connections to the Command Module (CSM spacecraft and BPC/LET not included) without the need to purchase the whole Apollo Mobile Launcher product. It can also be used as a generic service arm to connect other launch towers to rockets of a fiction based nature. Modelled with precision using the original architect's scaled drawings, along with extensive photographic and video research. Modelled with LightWave 9.6 USAGE Suitable for HD video, high-res film close-ups and print SPECS Model contains the following: 3 object layers (including interchangeable doors to White Room) 110526 polygons 93594 quads, 16932 tris, and 0 ngons Standard Lightwave materials & texture maps PRESENTATION IMAGES HDRI skydome used in preview images NOT included in file. Preview Images rendered with default Lightwave 9.6 scanline renderer. TEXTURES For the LWO model both XYZ Projection and UV mapped versions are included: 13 texture maps (PNG format - original XYZ projection mapped LWO model) 3 UV texture maps (PNG format - UV mapped LWO and non-native FBX and OBJ formats. GENERAL Model built to real-world scale Units used: Feet and Inches. Swing Arm is approx 72 feet long (including White Room). ANIMATIONS Pivot points and morph targets are preset in Layout file for White Room Launch Escape Tower (LET) release mechanisms and White Room bellows retraction shown in animated preview files and downloadable videos. 'Swing Arm 9 SA aligned.lwo' model is set up to exactly align with the Saturn Apollo launch vehicle. The arm is also available as a separate standalone model (with morphs set) to be repositioned as required when matched to other launch vehicle scenes.
