説明
Atlas V 401, Solar Dynamics Observatory Mission
Atlas V is an active expendable launch system in the Atlas rocket family. Atlas V was formerly operated by Lockheed Martin, and is now operated by the United Launch Alliance (ULA). Each Atlas V rocket uses a Russian-built RD-180 engine burning kerosene and liquid oxygen to power its first stage and an American-built RL10 engine burning liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen to power its Centaur upper stage.
Model Information
This rocket was modeled in scale from over 50 reference photos and blueprints. The mesh density is moderate to high, and is pre-subdivided. This model contains three parts; upper stage, CCB (Common Core Booster) and engines. There is a baked texture that should be applied to each mesh.
There are slight paint and materials variations between mission variants.
Baked Mapping
This model has several 4096x4096 texture maps that were baked in V-Ray under global illumination. Each texture map is named according to the mesh it should be assigned to.
To change the mission, you will need to apply the new mission logo in place of the Solar Dynamics Observatory logo on the upper stage, as well as the "AV-021" number on the upper stage and CCB.
Materials
Included is a multi-sub level material that should be applied to the CCB.
HDRI Environment
Included are two HDRI images that should be assigned to the environment and reflection slot in V-Ray. Remember to enable global illumination.
