This is a model of a generic cordless power drill. Originally created with 3ds Max 2015 Converted to Maya so that the model renders using both mental ray and VRay (3.x) || USAGE || This model is suitable for use in broadcast, high-res film shots, advertising, design visualization, forensic presentation, etc. This model also has a real-time version suitable for games, see the real-time header for more information. This model uses a scale of 1 unit = 1 centimeter || SPECS || This model contains 4 separate objects Inside of 3ds Max, this model contains 65,988 polygons with TurboSmooth OFF Inside of 3ds Max, this model contains 65,990 polygons with TurboSmooth ON (set to 1 iterations.) This model contain only quads and tris (no nGons) This model has been calibrated using the following renderers (V-Ray and mental ray in both 3ds max and Maya). || STAGE VERSIONS || Two versions of each file are included; Native Source (NS) and Nativle Clean (NC). Native source files include the lighting and render stage which can be used to get renders just like the preview images. The Native Clean version is just the object which is ready to import into any project. The download files have the suffix of NS or NC to differentiate the two files. || PRESENTATION IMAGES || Unless otherwise noted on the image, all Product shots of this model have been rendered inside of 3ds Max with VRay 3.x. Product is ready to render out-of-the-box. LIghts and cameras are not included in the file. || TEXTURES || Each part of the model contains 15 bitmap texture files (All provided in .PNG format 5 at 2048 x 2048 pixel resolution and 10 are at 4096 x 4096 pixel resolution) to accommodate both Physically Based Render (PBR) workflows (Metallic / Roughness & Specular / Glossiness). Maya: Third-party renderer needed / V-Ray 3.x or mental ray is REQUIRED in order to use this product. Model represents 20 of hours of 3D work || REAL-TIME || The Unity and Unreal versions of the drill have been optimized for real-time engines. This version is suitable for current and next-gen real-time projects. It contains 4 sub-objects. The unreal import has been baked down to a single mesh. The real-time texture download contains 10 bitmap texture files (Non-alpha provided in .PNG format at 4096 x 4096 pixel resolution, prepacked with alpha provided as .TGA) to accommodate both Physically Based Render (PBR) workflows (Metallic / Roughness & Specular / Glossiness).
