The 'Contemporary Office Desk' by Thea Design and Concept has been modeled for use in 3dsmax/Arnold. This model is crafted in a way that makes it transferable to any 3D package with ease. Featuring a normalised texel ratio, and no overlapping UVs, this digital furnishing uses just one highly detailed 4K material, consisting of: BaseColor map Roughness map Normal map The native material textures are 4096 x 4096 resolution, and utilise .TX technology for improved rendering efficiency, and minimised mip-mapping related visual artifacts. This asset also includes .FBX and .OBJ versions of the model. There is also an specialised OBJ that is made for Blender that corrects scaling issues. 8k variants of all textures are included in both .PNG and .TX format. This model is built to scale, and natively uses cm as the system unit, the scene then displays these measurements as millimetres. Dimensions: Height 760mm Width 1500mm Depth 700mm The Contemporary Office Desk will fit with any standard sized office furniture, and accurately mimics real world construction styles for increased realism, and production value in your scene. Sleek, high end, minimal design, doesn't take over the scene, yet covertly adds detail. This TDC asset features: Oak Timber (varnished finish) Handle-less push drawer (static) and is based on real world construction methods. (biscuit and dowel joined) UV mapped in a way that mimics real world construction. Timber lines continue as they should, across joining normals of the model. Modelled using subdivided quad poly methods, no n-gons or 6 edged and above vertices. (pole vertices) Integrates the correct use of t-vertices, and edge flow for assured render quality, from any angle, and at any distance. This asset uses Opensubdiv technology for smoother subdivision, and non existent UV layout stretching. By default the model is set to render 2 iterations, but displays the model with 0 subdivision iterations in the viewport. When the asset is not taking up the whole screen, level 1 subdivision is suitable. Comes bundled with several Arnold Renderer presets, and a user guide included for your convivence and rendering efficiency. Wireframe presentation images show the model with 0 subdivisions, and then 1 subdivision. Regular renders show object with 2 subdivision iterations applied. High quality model ready to drop into any high end Architectural or VFX scene. Available for Arnold/3dsmax 2017/2018/2019 and 2020. All modeling and texture work completed in house at Thea Design and Concept. 2019.
