======================= MODEL & TOPOLOGY ======================= 3D model of plastic tote bag with rope handles. The model is made by the Turbosquids Checkmate pro standard and you can produce renderings like the ones above right from the get-go. It contains mostly quads and a few triangles in the areas where it doesn't affect the topology in any way. The model is generally low poly with Subdivision level 2 added on top which can be reduced or turned off. Ropes are splines which makes them very easy to manipulate. You can extend them, move them around,or tuck them inside. Below is the list of Polygon/Verts count for the bag body and the rope handles separately: - Bag body - - 796 polys (12,688 with Subdivision Level 2) - 836 verts (12,893 with Subdivision Level 2) - Handles - - 20,168 (Splines level of detail can be reduced drastically) - 20,220 (Splines level of detail can be reduced drastically) =================== MATERIALS, UV & RENDERER =================== The bag body and handles are UV unwrapped without overlapping faces as you can see in the image above. Your design will show up on the bag without any artifacts or distortions. Vray materials are used in the scene so it's recommended that you have Vray plugin, but it's not necessary for the model to work. All textures and maps are included in the package. ================ EXCHANGE FORMATS & OTHER INFO ================ Model is built in 3ds max 2012, and can be opened with any 3ds max version above 2012. It is also available in .OBJ format for use in different applications. OBJ versions are exported from Max separately for 6 different applications using the export preset settings, in order to make them fully importable in desired applications with no errors. Below is the list of 3D applications used for import-testing: - Maya - Imports, no errors - Cinema 4D - Imports, no errors - Softimage XSI - Imports, no errors - Houdini - Imports, no errors - Lightwave - Imports, no errors - Blender - Imports, no errors Versions of applications used for testing: - Maya 2012 x64 - Cinema 4D R13.016 - Softimage XSI 10.0.422.0 x64 - Houdini 11.0.469 - Lightwave 11.0.1 - Blender 2.64.0 The model comes with the set-up scene and it's ready to produce renders like the ones above right away!
