A jar of housemade tomato sauce, ready to be put in a rustic kitchen, a cellar, a typical shop or a fridge. The brand is invented and doesn't refer to any existing company (translated:"Gifts Of The Sun") and the illustration on the top is composed by 0. The product is provided with the same light set and camera angle of the render shown in the main thumbnail. Made in Blender 2.79 (Cycles), textures made in Substance Painter and Photoshop. -> Be sure to use a version of Blender that is equal or above than 2.79, because the materials include the Principled Shader. --- Geometry: - The file contains one single object. - The topology is consistently supported by loops and it's subdivision-ready. Texturing optimized for 2 subdivisions. - Polycount: 2,400 / all-quads. - Dimensions: 12.62 cm tall and 8x8 cm of max diameter (4.97 in and 3.15 x 3.15 in) --- Materials and Textures: - One material, one texture set, one UVmap (non-overlapping). - Texture set in PNG, 4096x4096, PBR workflow: BaseColor, Metallic, Roughness, Normal Map (OpenGL and DirectX formats) and Opacity map. - All the paths are set as relative. ---------------------------------------------- • For Non-Blender users / exchange formats:
- To integrate this model correctly in other 3D software, be sure to use a subdivision algorithm that smooths UV boundaries too while applying geometry subdivisions.
Textures are created on 2 subdivision levels, with smoothed/interpolated UV edges too. - The material is quite simple to reproduce in other software. Textures are connected to the pbr shader of Blender as they come out from the output of Substance Painter, with no further internal adjustments. - To determine where the model shows glass or not you can to use the provided Opacity map or the Alpha channel of the BaseColor map. - The glass has an IOR of 1.333 - The geometry of the sauce intersects the glass, internally. This is necessary in Blender. So take in account this information and adapt the geometry in relation to the features of the glass shaders of your engine, if it behaves differently. - The top part of the sauce is darkened on purpose but this is an adaptation for Blender. In case your engine shows a too dark result, please test also the provided BaseColor without the darkened shade (included in the pack).
