This is a 3D model of a wine, whiskey, beer or gunpowder barrel. It has been designed for photorealistic rendering, but alternatively could be used in real-time rendering, games or just general uses in 3D. Current 3D model is perfectly suitable for placement in any medieval, pirate, industrial, rural or even post-apocalyptic environments and scenes. Additionally it might as well become an integral part of some modern scenes: bars, cafes, restaurants, etc. Or it can even serve as a decorative asset/toy, if scaled down to a proper size. *Mesh: The model contains 5 separate objects: the barrel itself, the iron hoops, the faucet, it's valve and the stand. The geometry is a polygonal mesh, each part can be successfully subdivided for more geometry if necessary. The model consists of 7 990 faces, 16 490 triangles. *Textures: This model has 4 types of unwrapped texture maps for each separate object: albedo map, specular map, normal map, gloss map. All texture maps are presented in 3 different resolutions. The textures for the barrel itself, the hoops and the stand are presented in 4096x4096, best suitable for photorealistic renders, 2048x2048 and 1024x1024, both best suitable for real-time rendering and games. The maps for the faucet and it's valve are presented in 2048x2048, 1024x1024 and 512x512, due to their relative scale to the other objects. Additionally, you can choose between 5 different albedo maps for the barrel part itself as you see fit. The renders of the model's color variations are included in the preview images or can be found under the "Albedo Variation Renders" directory in the texture archive to see the effect of each albedo variation before applying it to the model in your project. *File Formats: The original file has been created in Blender 2.77 with basic materials applied. The product includes Autodesk FBX (.fbx), Collada (.dae), Wavefront OBJ (.obj), 3D Studio (.3ds), Direct X (.x) files, all with basic materials applied. Additionally, the product includes Stanford (.ply) and X3D (.x3d) files. *Additional Information: All preview images are rendered with Quixel 3DO.
