(Version 2.0. Revised geometry with lower polycount, new PBR textures, armour is more hystorically accurate) A 15th Century French knight in shiny armour (Actually a depiction of Gille De Rais, Joan of Arc's Lieutenant). This is a low polycount model fit for both real time and general visualization. Modelled in real world scale, this character is 1,78 meters tall. This model is centered at the origin with zeroed transforms. Rendered in Blender Cycles. Geometry is almost full quads with just a few tens of triangles and is not fit for subdivision. (Polycount in the product description refers to triangles). The character is divided in 2 objects: The gear, including the sword and scabbard, the shield and the related belts. The rest of the character. Two objects, two materials. The gear has a 1024x1024 set of .Png textures, the knight has a 2048x2048 set instead. Both set of textures are in PBR format (Base Colour, Roughness, Metal, Normal (OpenGL), Height). Arms, legs and eyes are mirrored, all the rest of the geometry has no overlapping UVs. Objects, materials and textures names match. Cycles materials need to be rebuilt when used in different applications than Blender, but they export as Phong materials when exported to .Fbx. Textures for exchange formats are issued as a separate download in the Support Files Section. The .Zip also includes Ambient Occlusion and Material Masks maps. The .Blend file is issued with packed textures, and includes the image I used to fake reflection. This file was originally released under License CC0, credits go to HDRIHaven. Lighting rig included.
