I don't see any textures with this model even though it says they are included, and blender seems to expect them but obviously cannot find them.

So, even though there are no textures or way to directly use the blend file natively. You can create a new blender project and import the GLB that has compressed versions of the textures embedded in it... but if you are going to include formats that cannot embed textures, you need to include the separate files, and ideally uncompressed versions.
