The Boeing 747-800 is the largest of the 747 family of jumbo jets and the latest in Boeings expansion of the line. The passenger version, named 747-8 Intercontinental or 747-8I was launched on November 2005. The aircraft includes fully glass cockpits and spacious and luxurious interiors. Seating for 467+ is standard. The -8I series has two sub variants including the International and the Freighter. It has a longer fuselage than earlier 747 family jumbo jets and a redesigned wing to increase fuel efficiency.
