A high quality polygon model of a Cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) built out of quads and a few triangles. There is a Maya file with Mayafur applied to the mesh (no plug-in necessary) , and a Maya file with a Shave and a Haircut fur applied to the mesh (Shave and a Haircut 8.0v01 plug-in required). In the Maya files, the fur has been applied to the smooth proxy mesh that is driven by the low poly mesh. The low poly mesh is ready to be rigged.
There is also an OBJ file with all the polygon geometry and an FBX file with the polygon geometry and the Shave nurb curves.
All the texture are in a separate file. The textures for the skin have a 4096 x 4096 resolution, the Fur has 2048 x 2048 and 1024 x 1024 texture files.
If the Maya fur is giving you problems, make sure all the textures are loaded properly, and hit ''Bake'' at the top of the fur tab in the Attribute editor.
