Another popular name for this weapon was Ofenrohr ("stove tube") .1 The Panzerschreck was designed as a light anti-tank infantry weapon, which, resting on the soldier's shoulder, fired a rocket-propelled grenade with stabilizing fins containing a Hollow charge as explosive warhead.
