This is a fleshy looking realistic brain ready for high definition rendering. The brain utilizes Sub-surface scattering for a realistic effect. Its also very high detailed and all objects in the scene have intuitive naming conventions.
It renders using mental ray a the 400x400 preview images shown render in about 0.05 GHz hours.
*A GHz hour is the standard unit of measurement for a render farm. It is calculated by multiplying the render time (in hours) by the processing speed of the computer.
