기술

History The classic "Pullman Heavyweight" passenger car was the mainstay of American railroading, and used by almost all railroads. Built in the late 1920's through the late 1940's, thousands saw service, and were used well into the 1960's, with many in use today on tourist railroads. This car represents the elegant 28-1 "Parlor Car", used primarily in First Class service, with comfortable rotating upholstered chairs and elegant appointments. It is fitted with mechanical air-conditioning, as indicated by the roof ducting on one side and the compressor. This also provides for different looking cars to be used together in multiples by simply rotating them end-for-end. This historically accurate and highly detailed full scale (1:1) passenger car would be an ideal Key Asset to mid 20th Century period set design and imaging, and is capable of extreme close-ups and rendering. It is a perfect companion to my GG1 Electric locomotive (TurboSquid 682168) and Trestle (Turbosquid 703183). As time allows I will be adding a Chair Car, Baggage Car and the famous open platform Observation Car. The Model My SolidWorks™ CAD model was reverse-engineered from many sources and period photographs. It is representative of my museum quality work in the field of Industrial Archaeology (IA). "Pullman Green" and "Tuscan Red" were the most popular colors. I color-mapped the features and appropriate surfaces to allow simplified material and color application to suit your scheme. The lettering was created in SolidWorks as a "Split Line", and is not actual geometry, allowing the use of your own labels or decals. Modest interior is modeled, including chairs and interior walls, but not small details. "Lamps" are mapped to allow for interior lighting to suit. The high resolution model contains 10,000,235 polys, and includes a length of track and (separate) ballast. The original SolidWorks™ model was saved as a Parasolid, then re-imported into SolidWorks, resulting in a greatly reduced file size. It was converted into the .obj format using SymLab Composer. Preview thumbnails rendered in KeyShot 4 Pro from Luxion. The .obj is offered for those who prefer to work from this format, but it is likely most will want to use and/or import the SolidWorks model. The .obj and SolidWorks model have been tested in KeyShot, but have not been tested in other apps such as Maya, modo, C4d and the like. Please review your modeling or rendering app to verify that it will import a SolidWorks model. All parts and/or surfaces were color mapped within SolidWorks™, and migrated to the .obj format. The .obj imports in standard blue, but retains all original mapping. This mapping may not translate into Maya and other subD apps.
