This is my Sci-Fi Biplane Fighter with two big jet engines, several guns.
The modelling was done in Blender. Exchange formats are exported from there. Objects and materials have reasonable names (not like Cylinder.000).
All main objects (body, wings) have none overlapping UV unwrap, but the wings are mirrored, so left and right wings share the same UV space.
All other objects are also unwrapped, but most of them have their UVs overlapping (mirrored, or arrays).
In the *.blend files the wheels are rigged and a simple animation shows, how it works.
Fighter Plane 33 TS.blend Materials and maps are left as created procedural + painted. You can easily change several input parameters and values to change the base colour, decal colour, or even the amount and scale of the paint damage.
Some paint damage is procedurally generated and some paint damage is painted. The painted damage is based on a simple grey-scale texture. The edges are then procedurally scattered to make them hopefully look more natural.
All main input parameters are located in the INPUTS frame of the shaders (see image).
Fighter Plane 33 TS baked material.blend Maps are baked into several 4096x4096 images. You can use them for PBR shaders.
For the exchange formats all maps have been baked to 4096x4096 textures for use with PBR shaders.
