Douglas DC-9-30 Richards Aviation 3d model

This model is fully textured and is built near to scale of actual general dimensions. It includes animateable turbines, control surfaces and landing gear and is available in several different formats. The Series -30 was the third variant of the DC-9 having a slightly larger wing and longer fuselage than the series 10. It was built in large numbers from 1970 through 1986. Over 260 were built and many are still flying. The DC-9 has been in commercial service over 40 years with over 3400 being built. Its safety and reliability has been great making it a popular airliner to fly for many airlines. They are operated all over the world with many major and smaller carriers. Northwest Airlines has around 50 in service.
