Italian medieval house, end XIII/early XIV centuries. Modelled after checking various northern Italian medieval houses and paintings (i.e. Ambrogio Lorenzetti's The Effects of the Good Government, 1330s). This house would ideally belong to a merchant or an artisan with a rising fortune: although not as elegant as an aristocratic palace, the use of a 'bifora' window with an elegant capital witnesses the economic rise of the landlord. This house is ideal for games, reconstructions or movies set in late medieval/early renaissance Italy; the workshop with counter on the ground floor allows internal exploration and display of props. The bricks come from various photographs I have taken in northern Italy, then assembled together in the 4096x4096 texture provided. The quality of the house is medium high: the capital on the first floor is decorated with acanthus leaves and the roof tiles are supported by carved timber beams. The model comes with a 4096x4096 diffuse texture and a normal map. The quality of the bricks is good, however, if needed, I can provide single textures for each wall. All objects in render are provided (house and counter in the workshop).
