The model was created in 3ds Max 2014. The preview images were rendered using mental ray renderer. No additional plugins needed for opening and rendering. The model contains 5 separate objects all named properly and put in a group for convenience of transformation. When applying subdivision (i.e. TurboSmooth or Meshsmooth modifiers in 3ds Max), the setting Separate by Smoothing groups must be set to achieve the best look. Only quads and tris were used. Total number of polygons: 4708 Total number of vertices: 4795 Units used: milimeters. Approximate dimensions of the model: length: 210mm (~8.2 inches) width: 31mm (~1.2 inches) height: 32mm (~1.2 inches) Textures, materials and other files: - 1024x1024 .PNG-texture containing text label for the insert part of the screwdriver; - materials used are: mental ray Arch & Design, mental ray Autodesk Metal, Blend Material; - material library with all the materials used is included in the download; - additional scene included in the download is set up to give renderings like in the preview images. The .OBJ and .FBX file formats contain correct texture coordinates but don't contain any materials.
