Opis
A Cliff with a structure inspired by a historical and archaeological city, Petra. The cliff and the structure can be rendered in 3D or penciled/inked for comic book/action/historical story background or book illustration.
It includes Maya 2019 binary with new Arnold 5, Ai Standard Surface shaders.
Included an ASCII version, which can be read into an older version of Maya but the Arnold shading nodes may need to be changed to the appropriate version supported. (Maya 2018 uses Arnold 5, Maya 2017 uses Arnold 4.)
Most nodes have texture, normal or bump maps but some objects are enhanced with procedural nodes.
Included an FBX file, where some of the procedural shadings are baked into textures. These are approximations of original shading as a starting point for use in any other application. The FBX file has embedded textures files.
Included ZBrush versions as well, with penciled and inked Best-Preview Render (BPR) render settings. The ZBrush scene file (cliffStructureSign2ndInked) also have cameras to render signature 1, 2 and signature 2 close views, which can be selected from the Draw menu. The sample images contain a ZBrush screen capture file, ZBrush penciled, inked, and paint rendering for book illustrations. The Maya and ZBrush versions have edge creases thus it is easy to set any subdivisions if needs to be changed. Because of the edge creasing, it might be easier to generate other file formats using ZBrush file with GoZ feature and using sourceimages texture, normal and bump maps. The structures in the ZBrush files use Dynamic Subdivision. The cliff has real subdivision (6) in ZBrush.
At 0 subdivision level, the objects have a very low polygon count.
A HumanIK rigged and posed character is included to show scaling. The character (10,306 polygons) is not included in the total polygon count.
